Learning About the Brain (EP.115)
Monday Feb 01, 2021
Monday Feb 01, 2021
There’s no denying the brain’s role in human movement. However, did you ever think about (no pun intended) how the brain’s ability to store bits of information about your past patterns might be holding you back? In this episode I share a bit of what I’ve learned about neuroscience and then transition into a conversation about a related field, Neurolinguistic Programming, or NLP. This is an excerpt from a presentation I did this weekend at my wellness event and people loved it!

I firmly believe the future, at least for the short time, is for people to attend yoga sessions privately due to safety concerns about meeting in groups in studios. So, for today’s episode, I cove all that’s involved in seeing clients privately, both from a business perspective and an anatomy/practice perspective. At the end of the episode, I share with you how I can help you build out a strategy so listen until the end.

Monday Jan 18, 2021
Monday Jan 18, 2021
Have you ever heard a cue and you’re not sure what the anatomy rationale is for the cue? In this episode, I share a system with you so you can evaluate cues on your own, based on the anatomy knowledge you have. This is one of my most popular topics and I’m always asked questions about evaluating cues so I thought it would be helpful to go over it again.

Goal Setting (EP.111)
Monday Jan 04, 2021
Monday Jan 04, 2021
Join me for a frank and honest discussion about what’s involved in setting goals and reaching them. This is not just your “same old” discussion about goal setting. I talk about a lot of the things that hold people back from setting and reaching their goals. I also give you a model for creating goals for 2021 but first, a way to review how your 2020 went. This is an important place to start. Once you go through the process I describe, you’ll be empowered to take on all that 2021 can be for you!

She and I talk about her journey as a teacher, her path to opening a studio with a friend and how that journey shifted as she realized her true passion for helping others was around helping guide them to be the best version of themselves by releasing self-limiting beliefs around money and what’s possible for them in business.
